Half-Life expansion characters having roles in future games?

Do you think that Half-Life expansion characters like Adrian Shepard or Dr. Cross and Dr. Green will show up in Episode 3 or Half-Life 3?

I mean hey, they did it with Barney, so why not anyone else?

The Decay Women, I can see somehow in the Half-life 2 Story Arc somewhere.

But as for Adrian, he last got preserved by G-man which I suspect (If Valve decide to canonize him for the HL2 Story Arc) G-man would release around the events surrounding Episode one.

i dont care about the rest of the former cast, but i would like to see the houndeye, bullsquid, garg and genome back.

Adrian was labeled as one of the Good guys, Personally I'd like him to remain as that, even though he had orders to kill him, he had no personal vendetta against Freeman.
If anything, One Human trying to kill Freeman will get killed himself as all Humans and Vortigaunts praise Freeman.
Unless they turn 'Combineized' Shepherd which imo would suck.
I'd like him to be a rebel, some sort of special rebel with a title as chief Leader or something like that.

perhaps the could combine him with "tank" from raising the bar and bring the ideas connecting with that back.

I reckon we should make a petition to have some of the old alien races brought back such as the houndeye and bullsquid. I would also like to see more of a variety in zombies e.g different clothes for once.
