I'm having a bit of trouble trying to defeat that Gonarch. I got him to fall into that cave and I lob a bunch of 'nades, Detpacks, and used the grenade launcher on it but it wont die.. I drop down there but it either keeps killing me with its legs or i fall into the pit and i cant get out of it..

what to do what to do?

i think you need to hurt its underside... or try the gauss gun if you have any ammo left (or the glueon gun)

You just need to jump in the pit, really. It doesn't matter that you can't get out. Just blast him in the sack with whatever best gun you've got.

Just keep dodging his melee and don't stop shooting until he falls over.

The underside is the best bet as everything else is covered with a type of alien armour.

Anyway, keep shooting at it and it'll eventually go down. Or will it? :sniper:

Yeah i throw them under him but it doesnt seem to do much.. i mean i threw alot down there.. and then i even jumped down then and started shooting but he kept killing me by stomping on me or i kept being forced to fal down into the pit.. i guess i'll keep trying.

Guns are projectile weapons, designed to hit things even when far away.

I dont think you understand but anywho.. i just ignored killing it and bombed a hole into the floor.. its all good now.

Ohhh, you're talking about the first drop, aren't you?
Because it goes: drop - stretch of slippery floor - drop.
After the first drop, just leave him alone, and he'll jump into the pit on his own.

Well, I havent yet.. ive gotten as close as Xen but then I'll be playin somethin else and then I bought a new PC so i never finished the game.. im trying to do that this weekend.
