Half Life Platinum DLoad for Steam?

I had to reinstall steam today, and now when i try to play cs, it wants me to dload the half life platnium pack, then says that it will send an email with the validation code, yet the email never comes. Is this just happening to me?

It doesn't download anything, it downloads the updates necessary for you to play the games. Validation codes are invalid too I think. I tried putting mine in, but it says its incorrect with there servers.

it takes time.. try running and exiting Steam a few times..

that helped me..

i still can't play any online games.. but it will fix itself once it downloads the content it needs.

Okey dokey.. lets see.. I've done that.. we'll see if it works after retrying a few times.. Its been several hours.. not several minutes

Steam is very overloaded so be patient there's a huge backlog of emails still It may take a couple of days.
