Half life scratched cd need download

Hi my son wants to download the Half Life cd but it is scratched. I have the key so I just need to get the game downloaded can anyone tell me where I can get that. I cant seem to find it anywhere.

Precisely as Pi said. When you input the CD-Key it will enable you to download the content you want, and include updates with it. After that, go to your 'my games' list, and play Half-life. Good luck.

Playing HL on Steam these days is really breathtaking. It's amazing. Because the Half-Life assets are so small, the download goes about as fast as you play.

Seriously, it's like 30 seconds from clicking "Install" to staring at the main menu. You can start playing pretty much straight away, and it downloads as you play.
