Half-Life Source mapping

Does anyone have any ideas on making Hammer compatible for Half-Life Source mapping?

I'm looking for all the old models, textures, entities and the like. I mainly just want it to run off HLS, but if it could run as HL2, that'd be great!

And if we're allowed to take a step further, it'd be great to make maps with HL2 models, textures and the like with HL1 monsters too, like hl2substance.

If anyone's got any ideas, please help!
(oh, and yes... I'm a bit of a noob at this...)
 
Extract from the GCF and set up a custom mod configuration.
