Is there any way to buy HL:S with out having to buy it bundled with HL2. i realy want to know because I didn't find out about it untill after i bought HL2 bronze

non-collectors edition Retail never said it would come with it in the first place.

It's not worth paying for stand-alone anyway.

can't you upgrade your steam package in steam itself? or am i mistaken? i, myself, have the bronze package and when i open up the game browser it states that it's only 10$ to upgrade to silver, and 40$ to upgrade to gold.
