Half-Life "squared"

I wanted to add VALVe probably knowingly made it look like the “squared” symbol probably because HL1 was in fact the second game they made. HL1 was scraped and remade…

So there is your answer to the “squared” thing.

What do you guys think?

I think that the 'squared' symbol has been used because it looks cool Doom3 has the "3" 'cubed' [?] and I don't think it has any deeper meaning

Anyway, just wait till HL3 and the 'squared' symbol is a 3 then it means this will be HL2 not HL squared...

As far as I know, the roman symbol of "3" is "III" and the Doom3 logo doesn't use it.

Did you actually buy the game? It has a superscript 3 not roman numerals.

So it's a very good analogy if you know what you are talking about.

lol! You have that partialy right. I did play the leaked E3 Beta, but I did also buy the game as well.
