It has been brought to our attention that there have been a number of users obtaining virus warnings from this site since our new banner adverts were put up.
Unfortunately at this time, no one on the HalfLife2.net staff has received a similar error ourselves so up until this point we haven't been able to action any solutions.
To help us get to the bottom of this problem I would like anyone who has had a similar problem to send me an e-mail to [email protected] with the following information:
* What other sites do you visit on a regular basis?
* What internet chat programs do you use? (mIRC, MSN, AOL etc.)
* What P2P file sharing programs you use? (if any)
* What operating system do you use? (incl. service pack version if any)
* Which e-mail client you use?
* What firewall and virus scanner you use?
* What exact indications have you had that this website is the cause for the problem (include logs of any anti virus scans/alerts or firewall pop ups)
* Which internet browser do you primarily use?
