New year, new episode of the Halloween Mod. This October get ready for the new episode entitled "Laughter in the Darkness".

Laughter in the Darkness is a single-player mod, for Half-life 2, to be released in October 2007. Your name is Lewis Gavell. You are a paranormal investigator. During a radio interview, on the eve of Halloween, you are challenged by a caller to investigate a little known haunted house. Upon meeting the challenge, it is soon clear that you are in over your head. You find yourself locked inside a large Manor, with ghosts both benign, and malevolent. You must find your way out, and in doing so, solve the mystery of what happened on Halloween night 1890 that keeps the spirits of the Claybrook family trapped in the house to this day.

Not to ruin the mood, but I hope they get their releasedate right this time.

I remember how last year there were approximately 2 or 3 releasedates that weren't made. God, that pissed some people off

Actually, that wasn't last year, that was 2 years ago. Last year's REDUX version was released the exact day reported. 2 years ago the first version was released with some extreme complications. That was all my fault, but we have taken measures to prevent that from happening again. Mainly we have begun this years mod much, much earlier, so those kinds of complications are handled much, much earlier as well. Cheers.

They did get the release date right last year? I must say the redux version was better compared the one 2 years ago but it had still had some bugs and wasn't quite flawless.

Fighting all those zombies at the end in the forrest and the dull streets were boring as hell. I hope the mod makers get it right this time.
