Halo 2 on 360!

Sorry to be lame, but i had an urge to play a few rounds of halo 2 on the 360 and have come into an odd problem that nobody can help me with. So why not ask the best and brightest on on hl2.net?

Anyway, here goes.

I can connect to xbox live perfectly fine. I have played Saints Row a bunch online so I know it works. My problem is, when I try and play halo 2, it says I cant connect to Live. I have done alot of things to try and fix this including opening ports on my router, changing some IP addresses, etc. Nothing seems to work. It seems to disconnect me from Live as soon as I get into that game. Most people say to connect to live in the dashboard first, however that doesnt remedy my problem.

It's a longshot but if anyone can help me id appreciate it. :thumbs:

Can you play other Xbox1 games on your 360 through live?

I wish i knew, i dont have another regular xbox game that has live....is there a setting in the dashboard that will allow/not allow xbox games to be played on live?

In parental controls there is a setting that will disallow original xbox live games to be played online.

when i try to go into those settings it tells me there is no child xbox live account'

edit: I changed the MTU settings on the router and it worked

You have to connect to the internet in the game

Also, make sure parental control = off
