Halo 2 to include classic maps :D :D

Rumor has it, actually it's pretty much confirmed. I know Bloodgulch is in.. didn't read on for fear of spoilers.. \o/ and they are re-done with new engine/gfx tweaks...w00tah!

I can't stress this enough. I just watched a 30 minute clan battle on the new Blood Gultch (Renamed to Coagulation) and everything is redone and the base is bigger and there are like 7 vehicles about.

Some new vehicle forgot name but it is a hove vehicle like the Banshee but seat 4 people (2 seaters, 1 turret rider, and the driver) looks totally awesome.

lol, very true, that's insane. we played a similar setting @ a xbox lan and most peopel had sore throats or just couldnt talk

It's great to hear that they're remaking the classic maps for Halo 2, I think Xbox live will be a must for it..

ATV= all terrain vehicle........a motorcycle whit 4 wheels

Yeah, even though I've kept away from almost all Halo 2 info, I saw a few minutes of that SpikeTV special on it last night. The remade Gulch looks ****ing AWESOME, I was ecstatic to see that not only did they put it in the game but they "progressed" the map to what it would be like a few years in the future, so there's like a rockslide blocking off past areas, and the actual bases have an extra floor to them that was dug out in an archeological dig. That's just a damn cool thing to do, much better than just porting the same old map to the new game with better graphics and whatnot like I figured they'd do.

I believe the new bases have 3 floors, with a

It's slightly

bigger, and has more ways to get to the overhanging cliff, plus another entrance to each base.

also, blood gulch and battle creek are the 2 maps returning, the rest are new

my suggestions: when you get on xbox live, find a swords match on lockout w/ at least 8 people... you will have one hell of a time
