Halo PC: Fatal Error

Im havin trouble with my Halo PC, it says
"A problem occured initializing Direct3D. Hardware acceleration maybe disabled, please run DXDIAG."
I looked everywhre and could not find any solutions..

Help is aprecciated..

did you run DXDIAG and make sure hardware acceleration wasn't disabled?

Ever thought about going to a HALO message board?

Drivers installed "correctly"?

well i wasn't meaning to be mean, its just sometimes an easy fix is right there. anyway, have you tried installing dx9.0c again?

and maybe try and uninstall your current display driver, boot up in safe mode, run driver cleaner and get rid of its residue, and reinstall video driver.
