Hammer Editor Problems

okey, so I just started yesterday using Hammer Editor for Left 4 Dead 2, and already theres a problem, and when I can't google it, I make a thread, so here is my problem:

When I "run map" it will not start Left 4 Dead 2 so I can't test out the map, the cmd box half way's finishes then it closes.

What do I do?

Start the game with -console, and type "map ***" where **** is the name of your map.

Have you put a 'thick' in the "Don't run the game after compiling" box? If you have, remove it and use what Ravioli said above.

Where have you told Hammer to put the compiled maps? I think the program configures that automatically but make it your Left 4 Dead 2/l4d2/maps folder (or such).

I think thats all.
