Hammer not creating the BSP file.

Im messing about with hammer and making a cs:s map.

Up untill recently it was creating the bsp during the compiling. But it did somtimes not. But normaly restarting hammer fixed that. But now. Hammer just WONT creat the bsp file. In the end it just says error loading bsp .. no bsp so on.

Also another thing. I tryed setting Hammer to save the bsp file in the normal cs:s maps dir, but when it did work it just put them in the sorce sdks cs:s sample maps dir. Very anoying as thats not what i set it to do.

Its obviouse to me somthing is still very wrong with hammer. and WHYYY ON EARTH is hammer a steam app? Whats wrong with it being a standalone program that dossnt have to be infected with steam.

Any ideas anyone?

hmmm, never had this problem. mines working fine, and i even changed the target directories so the bsps were saved right to the css map file. everythings working fine, but some of my friends are having problems. i think certain computers are having problems for almost no reason...?????
