hammer, urrrrrrr sure.....

okies, right I have been mapping like 2 years and ever since i got my new computer hammer has just not been working correctly. When i make a map just a basic box, light entity and info_player_start , just your basic shit for your level to work. Anyway when I run the map (hl is opengl mod) it works fine loads up etc... but when i quit to come back to hammer. then my computer reboots. Urrrr wtf why does it do this? it has no reason at all. Also when I use direct x it don;t even load up. It just stays at the 1/2 way point before getting into the loading screen. Its just pure anoying and pissing me off now because I was planning on getting used to hammer for when the new one comes out.

lol i just reformated and havn't even isnstalled my games yet. Just got all my drivers and urrr half-life. LOL
