Hammer Will Not Launch!!!

Was wondering if anyone knew anything about this...

Every time I attempt to launch Hammer, it says to me:

Mounted Filesystem (216) Failed
SteamMountFileSystem (5580,216,0x13d2fc64 = ,0x13d2fd64) failed with
error 116: cache needs repair.

What??

I tried reinstalling sdk,and it still didn't work. Someone have any ideas?

Trying right clicking on Source SDK and then going into properties > local files

Then try verifying the cache, or defragmenting.

Thanks for the idea, however, I tried this and it still comes up with the same error message.

Well, I've had it! No one knows whats going on with this program, so I just uninstalled the entire thing, then reinstalled it. It seems to be working just fine now... If it happens again, I'll cry...;(
