A couple of years back I heard a few tracks from this Norwegian lady, and it was so amazing I imported the album (Little Things) from Norway. Seems she's released another album since, and I heard a song of hers alongside an advert on TV not so long ago. I don't know anyone else who's heard of her so maybe some of you might have? BBC Review of 'Little Things'
I really like the weird found sounds she incorporates along with fresh melodies and harmonies, a really sweet voice and the variety of instrumentation. Some stuff reminds me of Aphex Twin (melody wise), but I've just checked out some of her newer stuff and there's bits that sound like radiohead in there as well. In the best way possible!
