Have a Great weekend all.

I'm off to Lake Tahoe for the weekend to rebuild the PC's in my dads Realitors offices. Maybe get in a little Late season skiing if i'm lucky.

Take care all & see you on Monday.

David Fanshawe was born in 1942 in Devon, England and was educated at St George's Choir School and Stowe. In 1959 he joined the Film Producers Guild in London gaining valuable experience as a documentary film editor, recordist and composer. In 1965, he won a Foundation Scholarship to the Royal College of Music, studying composition with John Lambert.

His ambition to combine composition with the recording of indigenous folk music began to develop in 1966, in Jordan and Israel, resulting in his unique and highly original blend of Music and Travel. In Africa he succeeded in documenting hundreds of tribes, achieving such close rapport with local communities that they gave him special permission to record their performances.

Hahaha. I remember that episode. It was all because of that one Latino girl Slater was trying to impress to get in her pants!

Gotta love being the family IT guy.

Have fuuuun :)

OMFG i'm sore...

After fixing the PC's in my dads office, I noticed that he had a problem with one of the phone jacks. So we took a look and found out that the guy my dad hired to install the phone lines in the house he had just built, totally screwed everything up. Instead of having phone lines going to half the wall jacks, there was CAT5 cable instead. WTF?? Big different between Bell Cable & CAT5 cables. How can you mix them up?

Then down at the junction box the guy had nothing connected right. So I spent 2 hours and rewired the junction box as well as half the wall outlets in the house. Had to use the CAT5, but otherwise all was well after I finished.

So my dad said that he wanted to take me Snowboarding at Alpine Meadows as a way of saying thanks. It was my first time snowboarding. A little history first, I have downhill skied for over 25 years. 8 of those years were spent racing in both Canada as well as here in the US. I raced both Giant Slalom & X-Country. (Gotta love the Biathalon. Skiing with a rifle on my back was just cool.)

Well, NONE of that prepared me for what was in store for me today. Basically, I got my ass handed to me. I kept biffing it, all over the place. I mean I took one hell of a pounding all day today. I went with my dad, step-mom and very little sister. Dad & step-mom were good & while my little sister was an extreme expert. She is only 14 & the stuff I saw her do today was simply and utterly amazing. She had alot of patience with me today, let me tell you. The very last run I did, I FINALLY got my balance & made it all the way down without falling. I was so stoked, but I hurt all over. At some point today, I fell on every part of my body. I hurt in places I didn't know could hurt.

God, I had fun though!! For those that live an active life, you know what I mean when I say I love that pain that comes from living life to the fullest.

Now for some proof & a chance to look at my dumbass falling.

My knees are killing me right now!

Funny cuz the tag on your shirt makes it look like you're supposed to be the instructor.

"Now kids, let's learn the fabled faceplant technique. All you do is turn the snowboard perpendicular to your direction of travel, then lean forward. This should only be done at speeds over 10mph, or it'll look silly."

Haha, been there, man. You'll get used to it I guess. Like any other sport it takes practice.
