Ok so this morning i run my PC, and it get stuck in the windows loading screen, with a ticking sound coming from the harddisk.
So i plugged in my second hard disk ( Windows Vista Beta 2 ) so i can try to access the first harddisk files and see if anything wrong with the files, so the Vista finished loading, i get stuck with a black screen with the same ticking sound as before.

I need help :(, i dont wanna lose my Steam files and some others :(

Umm.. theres a good chance that if it's ticking that the head has crashed into a platter, thusly SpinRite aint going to be able to help jack. Though I guess you can still try.

But more than likely the HDD is useless now.

Well i went to a computer stroe, and they said its useless now D:
Bye bye my 300gb sata2 hd ;(

A cool little fix you can try for near-dead hard drives (which wont help you in this situations, but just as a tip) is that you can actually stick the HDD in a freezer for a little while and you might get it to work long enough to copy a few important files.

Right, but it's a good candidate.
