Yeah, if you backup your stuff and reinstall, you'd probably not have any more issues. Sorry, I got nothing else.

You should have listened to Microsoft when they said to do a clean install. They have been saying since the RC1 that you should do a clean install because upgrading is much more complicated than it was for previous versions.
 
@Krynn: They're talking about a clean install vs upgrading from a previous version of Windows. I was just doing a hardware upgrade. I was aware of the risk that it wouldn't work, but I was perplexed by the fact that Vista 32-bit that was installed on AMD would load on an Intel box, but Windows 7 wouldn't going from Intel to Intel.

Anyways, I didn't end up figuring it out, which gave me an excuse to set up RAID 0.
