Harry Potter: The Goblet of Fire Trailer

Hermione and Ron look like different actors, but according to Yahoo movies they're the same.

No doubt it'll be as shit as the other HP films unless the kids have grown into people who can actually act...

I thought they got the job done quite well =).

All three of the main stars look like women in this film. Did they all get sex changes?

Yes. Yes they did.

Have you lot never seen people grow up. :-/

And on topic, looks alright, never been too big on the movies, but I'll go regardless to see Emma Watson. And Short Recoil as Krum.

He dies in the sixth =).

I think Emma Watson is going to be hawt.

Wow, that actually looks pretty good.

I noticed that the official site is partly up too.

And a little look at Mad-Eye was pretty sweet. Should be better than PoA. :x

o yeah...........sry for some reason i thought that there were 8 books........forgot there were only 7. but im defianlty going to see this when it comes out

I thought there was suppose to be 10 or 11....

Sv-e-e-et... So looking forward to this. It's my not so secret shame that I have Harry Potter on the brain.

No, just 7. :)

Mad Eye Moody is played by Brandon Gleeson (Hamish in Braveheart, Helen's husband in Troy). And Ralph Fiennes plays Voldemort. Yes, I'm talking Goethe from "Schindler's List" Ralph Fiennes.
God I love dream casts. Now where can we get Anthony Hopkins into this.

Anthoney Hopkins could play the new minister of magic in the 6th movie.........

I really don't think Hopkins would suit Scrimgour very well, actually :p

I thought Rowan Atkinson would play Voldemort... Seriously, I read it. A while ago though...

I think Hopkins should play Fenrir Greyback. Well, he'd obviously have to change in appearance in terms of hair a tiny bit, but he'd still be triple awesome :D

Edit: Oops. I vote Scrim as Ian McKellan.

For Fenrir...hmm, Eric Bana? :X

Hopkins would've been a great Mad-eye Moody, but they already have that character cast (and filmed). I can't really picture him as Scrimgour, either. I've pictured Fenrir as being a lot taller than Hopkins; somehow I just can't see that working (though my respect for Hopkins keeps me from being too sure). If we meet any more men from the Black family, I think he would fit well there (perhaps RAB?).

edit: Oh, I agree. McKellan would be a very fun Fenrir. (But Fenrir isn't Fudge's replacement. Fenrir is the evil werewolf. Scrimgour was Fudge's replacement.)

I can't believe ye're getting exited. All 3 films have been crap IMHO.

Nice one there Javert, a lot of revealing parts in that trailer.

And yes Rim-Fire, indeed the previous 3 films were fairly poor, but at least have a little hope.

The third one sucked beyond belief. This oen looks liek it MIGHT be good. We shall see...

I'm a fan of the books, so it annoys me to no end when the director chances the story. But...oh well.

Funny, I thought the third was the best cinematically. The other two were very drab.

Like I said, I hate when they change the story. I guess if I had never read the books I might like it, but when I read, I really get sucked into the story. And it's just irritating to see a movie almost completely disregard the book it's based on.

I have to agree that the books are better than the movies, as usual. The first 2 are somewhat drab, but have everything from the books with only slight changes and omissions. The 3rd is a descent film, much better than the 1st two, but as the books are getting longer, they're forced to simplify, omit more subplots, lay off the foreshadowing details, and such.

I think that the coming movies will not be anywhere near where the books are, but they'll be much better than the 4-hour movies that would result from complete faithfulness to the source material.

What changed in the story? I'm pretty sure they got all the main details down but had to cut out smaller segments to save time in the film.

boo for strap-on eyes :( got the voice down pat, though.
The trailer washilarious. why?I had this playing in the backround :D

My opinion: it's rated PG-13 to keep out the little kids who will inevitably shout
"You killed him! You Bastard!" everytime Snape
appears on screen. Not that i'm not going to shout it anyway despite being 19 (for spoiler factor you understand :p)

The HP movies always seemed to have good potential to me. Rowling is hardly an astronomical writer, and her language is pretty mundane really. What she is great at though, is basic ideas that can be fleshed out in cinema to be something quite amazing. The limiting factor is the kids though. They're getting better, and the third film was the best yet, and I expect the 4th will be even better, and the trailer certainly looks promising.
