Has anyone read "The Fog" ?

I was just wondering if anyone in here has read "The Fog" by Stephen King?, we might get 1 or 2 new clues out of who g-man is.. i know the storyline is completely different and they were just building half life on the books effect on people..

Hell.. there must be at least one thing in it..

Actually it's "The Mist" but you won't find any clues in it I'm afraid.

The story isn't the same as Half-Life. What's the same (If I can remember the story...read it many many years ago) is that a strange mist comes and blankets the land. And within the Mist strange creatures begin to appear.

So basically Half Life took this idea and ran with it and gave a reason to why the creatures appeared etc etc.

'The Fog' was written by James Herbert. Basically it was a fog moving around the UK and turning people and animals insanse. A good book I thought

I was very fond of a Stephen King novella called "The Fog" and wanted to see if we could recreate that kind of experience in game.

This does not mean that they based the game around any part of the plot. This just means they wanted to recreate the kind of atmosphere, emotion and experience - the overall "feel" of the book.
