Anyone else watch this? I've lately been watching the re-runs on UK Gold. Paul Merton, Ian Hislop and Angus are just awesome; I want Angus back as the presenter! Although, its entertaining to have a guest presenter on the show each week, Bruce Foryth was the best! They also need to Boris Johnson on more often.

yeah i used to years back but i think it lost a lot since angus stopped presenting it because i loved it when ian and paul used to rip into him like a pack of overgrown comedian wolves

I dunno, my favourite is when Dara O'Brian presents. He's great, but I generally loved all the presenters. Apart from Charlotte Church, who was shit.

It's funny, but Paul Merton really annoys me. I can't stand him for some reason.

I can't stand that bloody Dara O'Brian. He's just shit at presenting the show. The guy who did it tonight was quite good, and while Boris may be a good laugh you'd soon get tired of his ineptitude as a presenter too. I'd say either bring back Deaton (not a chance in hell) or find someone as good as the chap who did it tonight, possibly him himself. (So long as it's not Jeremy bloody Clarkson - he's good on Top Gear but he ought to stay there)

I'm thinking Tom Baker might be an interesting guest presenter, but when I think of him I don't think sarcasm or satire, which is what the program needs in a presenter above all else. How about Mark Lamarr? He could out-sass Deayton (sp.) blindfolded and he'll be wanting something to do now that Buzzcocks is finished.

It's a shame, but I find Paul Merton a lot less funny since he started doing Room 101. That show revealed him to be not so...comedically agile as I thought he was from just seeing him on HIGNFY.

I haven't watched the show in ages, but used to like it a fair bit. I thought Robin Cook actually did a good job in his turn at guest presenting
