having a problem with css

i wanted to play some games tonight, and i tried joining a server, and it wouldnt work. i figured my internet was down, but it wasnt. then i tried creating a server with bots, and it worked fine and i played that for an hour or so. i tried joining a few other servers, and it will not let me get in. it says that it tried connecting 4 times, but it failed. i restarted cs, but no luck. anyone know what is wrong???

do you have a personal firewall that could be blocking it? most likely its not the game, but rather something on your computer or firewall blocking it

no. i have been playing css for around 2 months now, and i have never had this problem

What errors is it giving. please elaborate. some system specs would be nice too
