Having problems with FEAR.

I installed FEAR, but when I try to start it up, it comes up with a box saying that the license date isn't valid yet, and will become valid on 29-08-2005. Do you guys know how to fix this?

Do you have your clock on the computer set up to the proper date and time?

Won't work.

You have to force some options in capatability (Right-click, preferences, etc.)


I think it was to turn it to 640x800 (Whatever that option was), then change the resolution ingame.

Ok... now, when I try to put the update on it, it says the version of FEAR found on my computer is incompatible with the installer. The hell's wrong with it?

You're probably trying to update version 1.0 to 1.4 with the 1.3 to 1.4 patch. Is your patch installer called fear_update_103_104?
