Having Probs with the weapon sprites

When playing CS:S, when buying a weapon, or killing someone, it shows big letters instead of the weapon sprites. Is there a way to fix it?

Sorry if this has been posted before, but i did search but came up with nothing.

What do the letters say? ERROR? If so that means your missing some files. You may have to re-download it.
