Hayabusa Ghost Rider....Wow.

D: He was still wheelie-ing at over 100mph!

Yeah, it's just insane how fast that thing accelerates...I really want one. Then again, once I get it, that is the last time you'll ever hear from me. :O

youtube tags newb D:

how do you know he's going that fast when the speedometer doesn't go that high?

the title of the video says so :( So I just converted that. It would seem likely, since he's only going another, what 1000 rpms?

the problem is that the force of air resistance is proportional to the square of your velocity, which means its very hard to go that fast.

I'm guessing he was probably only going 280 kmph or so

so he was only going 170 when the bike clearly states over 220?

no no, I think the speedometer is accurate, but he only gains maybe 50-100 kmph after it peaks out.

Busas are for noobish teenagers who think having a rice burner makes them cool.

Haha, yeah, watching Ghost Rider is awesome. He rox.

As a wise man once said, every bike enthusiast should own a Hayabusa at some point in their lives - but sell it on quickly, before you end up dead or in prison. :)

A friend of mine says that when you nail it, it feels like it's ripping your arms out of their sockets.

Personally I'm quite happy with the performance of my bike at the moment:

That the same bike?

That you?

I don't mean to be a noob, but is this really the same fellow in all these ghost rider videos? I thought it was just a general term meaning a guy riding alone.

isd that you on the bike, or just your bike being used?

get out of my head sinko.

Hell no, that ain't me. I wish. My skill is squeezing through impossibly small gaps.

It's the same model of bike though. I'm stuck riding a Bandit 650 at the moment because mine was written off when it was knocked over while parked, and it's so bland and boring. I don't even take the long route home. I'm buying a 2003 Fazer soon though, can't wait...

Looks like this:

I must say my fine sir, that looks wise, that is one sexy and seemingly functional bike.

'tis a Yami too :D

The '03s don't have that weird assed electronic paddle-esque shift system the '06 and '07s have, do they?

EDIT: NVM, i'm thinking of the FJRs :p

OLD! (at the first video)

Man I remember getting that from Ebaumsworld before I knew it was evil - yeeeeeears ago.

Still awesome though :)

I've never seen that on ebaums, and I used to go there all the tiem

Well, mightn't have been Ebaums... I just remember it being in Dad's video folder, and that's all he used to visit.

If I get a terminal illness I'm going buy a Hayabusa and find a long straight away that ends in a cliff. It'll be something like this video.

NOTE: THIS VIDEO WILL UNDOUBTEDLY MAKE YOU CRY.

I'm not familiar with the FJR.

The '03 Fazers are particularly awesome, because they retain the same basic characteristics as the older models but have the new style fairing, lights and such as well as some nice tweaks.
The older Fazers look like something out of a bad 80s disco, while the '04 models onwards are a completely different bike - and most consider them to be somewhat inferior to the older ones. Admittedly I've never ridden one, but they don't get a lot of praise.

Here's one I rode earlier...

They don't look all that spectacular, imo.
