Yup, the cat's finally out of the bag... or whatever

I know I haven't been around in a while, but I was surprised no one made a thread for this. I was actually hoping to buy this on PC simply for the controls, but I guess it'll do on my PS3. I'm still hoping Free Radical ends off pulling another wonderful console FPS. Timesplitters is one of the few that I actually enjoyed playing.

Anyone else a bit disappointed it's not coming to PC?

I never heard of it, I just watched that dev diary in the link you gave. It looks nice but I'm not too interested so no I'm not disappointed. It looks like another Crysis game: fancy graphics with a nonsensical plot.

I was planning on getting this for the 360 for the pad and to play co-op with mates on Live :/ Now it's wibbly wobbly PS3 sticks and PSN.

Still, looks a good game. I'm hoping Free Radical improves on the single player side of things from their previous games and keeps the crazy multiplayer.

PSN isn't bad lag-wise at least

I'm really looking forward to the drop-in, drop-out 4-player co-op

Ubisoft said that no other versions are in development, and only the PS3 version is being worked on.

Right now yeah, but what about after the PS3 version? Not too sure on the PC but I'm certain a 360 version is going to be made sooner or later.

How annoying.

I mean, I wasn?t that interested in Haze, but it did have some cool ideas, and it was a Free Radical game.

It looked pretty good. Too bad, I would have gave it a shot for the PC.

The France-based publisher also noted that it was still leaving the door open in the future for "new partnerships," but currently the game is indeed only planned for the PS3. A spokesperson said, "The official statement on PC and Xbox 360 is that these platforms are not confirmed."

With these guys, it's all about gameplay. Free Radical Design grew out of a large portion of Rare, which means that Haze is being made by the same core team of people who have been responsible for the creation of the best console shooters of all time - Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, and the Timesplitters games.

This is a real shame. I don't know if I'd have gotten it for PC - I'm afraid it would ruin the magic, since these guys are the only ones who have managed to make a console FPS that I can really enjoy - but I would have liked it on my 360.

I wouldn't be suprised at all if it arrived at some point on the 360. I may actually hold off getting it on the PS3 just in case.

WTF, dam them.

I thought they talked about a pc version ?...

Fuk them

Doesn't bother me, at least now there is a game I'm getting on the Ps3..

well, have fun not making money, Free Radical.

Quite funny you mention nonsensical plot, because that is supposedly one aspect they spent a lot of time on. Judging from their past games, the gameplay will almost definitely be great, and the plot seems far better than most generic FPS shooters (i.e. Crysis).

Oh and umm.... read below.
