Whoopie! Just got HDTV receiver for $90. SO CLEAR! 100% 1080i goodness. Looks amazing on a projector projecting on 100 in. screen. Seems exactly like looking through a window.

My family has been thinking about switching to HDTV, but we're still not sure whether the extra clarity is worth the price.
We rececntly split the main cable so that both my brother and myself can have cable access in our rooms. Of course the more times you split the cable, the less clear the picture is.
Right now there's the ability for 6 TV's to all be hooked up in our house (only two outlets provide good quality picture, the rest are crap
). But with less time being spent watching TV these days, the change to HDTV might not even be worth it?
