Head Crab damage.....

Ok i got HL2 for christmas (great game) and im already reluctant to play it. Its because of thouse damn leaping headcrabs!!! they are horrible!. The thing is though i played ravenholme fine in the demo before i had the full version. Now i seem to be getting the eebey geebeys about the little buggers!. When headcrabs attack you, do they jump on ur head and cover the whole screen with their insides? or do they just bounce off doing a little damage??. Anybody who has played Alien Vs Predator 2 will know what im talking about, when the face hugger jumps on you and ur whole screen is covered by the horrible thing.

Don't worry, they just bounce off and do a bit of damage. You won't catch them eating your face like the facehunggers in AVP

avp2 is a kick ass game, and the muiltiplayer r8cks!

Just watch out for those black headcrabs. Those guys do tremendous damage in one hit, and they get annoying throught ravenholm.

I'm EXACTLY the same as you. I'm always dreading the head crab encounters, I can face any other enemy fine, but those head crabs just scare the living crap out of me and make me jump and shudder! I think the reason I'm so scared of head crabs is because they move and look like spiders, and I've got a real bad spider phobia.. I guess I should stop being a bitch, and just face them. lol
