Headset recommendations?

My beloved Sennheisers died yesterday and I'm pondering a replacement headset (With mic). Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'm toying with the idea of a PC 161 Sennheisers (which are a tad pricy tbh), but I've also heard good things about the Creative Fatality headset. Anyone with any other suggestions, or comments on either?

I've had plantronics before, and although the sound quality is good they are a little on the flimsy side I've found (pair would barely last me more than 4 months before breaking...).

I've decided to give the them a pop and see how they fare. If I get a years use out of them I'll be happy.

I've only had mine since Christmas but they are still in good shape.

oh i hear you on that one. if its by seinnheiser then i doubt you're getting a bad product. i got some buds by them and they're amazing, better than my shures. plus they were only $40

Plantronics is good. I currently use the Plantronics gamecom 777's and they are extremely durable.

I'd just stay with Sennheiser. I'm rocking the HD 555s right now. Then I just bought a clip on mic. Works great.

The Fatal1ty seem comfortable enough, though the cable is a little thinner than my old Sennheisers, which is a bit of a concern on the durability stakes. I'll probably go back to the Senns when the fatal1ties gives up the ghost down the road, but I've had a little too much of the outgoings Vs the incomings lately to justify Senns this time around....
