CybrMan showed me this site about a bacon log and we thought to ourselves that we could improve upon it. I went to the store and bought 4 packs of bacon and 2 one pound bags of cheese (of course the cashier had to ask what I was doing, I told her I was in a bacon cult). Here is where I shall take you through our journey to the heart attack in a blanket.
This is where all those underwater basket weaving classes came in handy:
Cooked the bacon first:
Once it was done we put cheese over it to let it melt:
Shit, forgot to take a picture. :\
Then we took crescent dough, laid it out and meshed the edges together:
Once meshed we laid a layer of cheese on about 2/3rds of the dough:
Shit, forgot to take picture again.
We rolled the bacon separately from the dough, then placed it on the dough.
Once we rolled it to the end of the cheese, we cut off the last part and capped the ends so the cheese wouldn't ooze out when baking:
After 17 minutes, CybrMan and I didn't want to wait any longer:
Cut annnd serve!
