I tend to go for zalman or thermalright products as they're top notch and usually quiet. Look into how the heatsink was constructed eg were the fins soldered on or not etc to gauge its quality.

Edit: damn thats expensive though. well i spose if your overclocking it'd be a sensible choice but otherwise i think what you suggested looked good.
