HECU Uniform Confusion

I'm trying to make an HECU uniform but I dont know how to substitute their PCV combat vests (which unsurprisingly dont exist.)

And I'm no expert on making replica suits, but is this an actual replica or are you trying to make a suit to wear or something? Just decorate some vest, shouldn't take that much effort.

Get a dark green MOLLE vest and put some magazine pouches on it. Prolly you'd have to dye the vest, methinks/

It is an actual walk-around-in-it sort of thing. And it is to inspire my friends in the HECU club we started.

Although I too never bought any because there was no real need for me to go around town wearing battle dress uniforms unless it was some kind of convention or something.

That's looks pretty good except for the fabric used for the fatigues. Isn't there an army surplus store not far from this guy's house where he could get some real urban camo?

Ive bought the pants by now (google: "Urban Camo BDU") and they look great. DO NOT worry about it 'not being authentic' because it turns out that the Army never actually used Urban Camo. Its purely expiremental!
