click start>>run and type in steam://validate/220 - that will check your game files and if they are corrupted will repair them

Try installing the beta Nvidia drivers:

Update all your other drivers and see if that helps.

-updated all drivers
-completely uninstalled/reinstalled ALL steam apps

still no change, anyone got any other ideas as i cant play the game untill i get it fixed, the rest of the level is invisible and theres no way im gonna be able to get through it like that

fixed it, just had to replay the level after reinstalling, must be a corrupted file

God that must be annoying it looked like you were near the end of water hazard.
