when I scan with Norton2006 my CPU usage is really bad its never ben so bad before ot gos from 1-90 in a jippie thats not normal
It has to be a virus

Open up task manager and list anything thats seems unusal here. Thats allways a good start. Then its often possible to find a fix on the net.

Also tell us any other symptoms you see and I suggest running any anti virus software, and spyware programs (I have had them pick up viruses before I think...) you have.

I'm sure people will be able to help alot more if you give more details. :)

could this be a issue with my Monitor but its really strange ahhh
help its just started again the monitor flickers and stuff

Does it flicker when your monitor wobbles( try it) because if it is.
It a dodgy connection in the wire, mine does it and goes a redish tint someimtes.

If not to the above!

well I try to explain more camly know after deleting that dude off my MSN list I went to play CSS when I dropped my mouse off the desk bent down to pick it up then my monitor was all flickery and stuff then my PC froze
right awy I thougt that it may be a heat Issue my computer restaded without out me pushing a botten{I know its not splled right}
I checked the Nviidia thingy and looked at the temperature thnigy for a while it was constant 48 celsius so it cant be heat issue so it has to be a virus
I also checked all the cables and stuff in the back of the monitor and the back of the 6800 I dont know what to do....

*edit* whats a shellmon? and whats SPBBCvc I havent seen tha in my task manger before

do you overclock?
Check your video card connection (make sure its secure in the slot) that seems to be a likely culprit
Do you have the latest drivers?
Or you monitor may be eff'd

(my 6800 did the same damn thing, it somehow came loose in the case)

mhmh.. Il check that thx fot da help

It won't be a virus, It can't be. Check any changes to drivers, make sure connections are in and maybe do an adaware scan just to make sure. Then scandisk, defragment, drwatson it for fun, dxdiag, reinstall drivers with assistance from some knowledgeable person etc..
