First of all, hello to everyone on the forums.
I recently purchased the Orange Box and ran into some problems with Episone One. While attempting to load the game I either BSOD (something about a physical memory dump) or come up with one of three errors.
"Failed to lock index buffer in cmeshdx8:: LockIndexBuffer"
"Failed to lock vertex buffer in cmeshdx8:: LockVertexBuffer"
or
"Internal driver error on IDirect3DDevice9 :: Present"
Now the funny thing is that I am able to play regular HL2 on max with no problems at all. I can even play Episode Two on max with no problems. Portal naturally works fine as well. My machine is overclocked and I have had no heat related issues (operating temp kept at under 80C at heavy load using external fans and monitored using i8kfanGUI -the 8C offset in mind-).
I have scoured the net for two days looking at those errors on google and they don't seem to be related to each other. I have uninstalled DX9C and reinstalled just to be safe. I even reset my card to stock clocks.
Any ideas?
Btw I'm running a Dell e1705 with a core 2 duo 7200 processor on windows XP media center, one gig of ram and a Geforce 7900 GS go reflashed to a 7900GTX (which has been running fine for over 9 months with no heat issues).
Thanks in advance!

I just reinstalled the game (all of them) and the same problem comes up only with Episode One.
