Fully discovered HL when I heard about HL2 meaning didn't really have to wait long but have been playing DoD and CS for about three years now. I joined because it seemed cool to be able to talk with people who have actually heard of HL and HL2

hello, and welcome to halflife2.net, that lovely falling behemoth.

Hello and welcome!! :D

Here's a bit of advice I wish I had been given: Don't make a thread about reaching 1000 posts unless you want your post count reset. Obey the forum rules because the mods here aren't the most forgiving.

Let me think..what else..Oh yeah, use the search button before making a new thread and use the edit button instead of double posting.

As I said, welcome to the forums.

Hello! and,

Will you shut up about that already?

Welcome, calscholar. :D

I'm not whining about it, I'm just letting people know what happens when you do it. Plus, it makes for a more interesting welcome message than "hello and welcome!!"

Not if you say it every single damn time. And in a forum where one of the rules is 'don't spam' surely it's pretty bloody obvious that it's not a brilliant idea to make a thread about the size of your postcount?

Although Borgasm here has a point, namely: don't do it. :p
