Hello, my name is, well.... just call me something you feel.

Well, it first started when I seen the original Half Life demo in some magazine CD I got. I played it, and I loved it. I bought the game, but I had a weird glitch were it stuck in one spot of the game, so I was unable to finish the game. I moved on, and beat Half Life 2. I loved it and I just recently bought Half Life 2 for XBox and beat it under 10 hours. For some reason, it's a little easier than the PC Version, and to note I was using the hard difficulty, without cheats.

I came here to check out the theorys you guys have, specifically about G-Man. I believe he is one of the most mysterious game characters, ever, I am sure there are more, but this one is the best out of all. His strange appearences, make you wonder, how he gets there, and... why?

Anyways, I just wanted to introduce myself before I began to post.

It took loads of self-control to not edit that post.

Welcome.

If out of fairness we don't count the first post as a post and say he has yet to begin posting, we would be ok.

But using "began" would imply one would have already posted. In this case it can be correct because he has posted once to introduce himself and we are not counting this as a real post, but the comment is self-negating because he is admissing his state of not yet begining to post in the sense he is an active member.

---
To put it simply, began is a past tense participle. You use when when you have already done something. When you have yet to do something, it is proper to say begin, or begun if you want to get romantic. ;D

Sure, if this is your 37456th language. In any case I don't see the point of disregarding proper grammar as naziism. I see the glass as half lazy, half educated.

At any rate I don't intend to make a habit of correcting people. I do feel however, that was an accurate representation of my personality. n 3n

lol I know man I was just joking you are of course right.

I love English grammar. It's so simple. I'm definitely going to write my master's thesis on some aspect of English grammar.

Yeah, English grammar is pretty easy. German grammar is about as easy as swimming across the pacific with one arm and malaria.

I've never studied German but I once tried to read a book that was a really bad English translation from German. Like German with English words. So I think i know what you mean.
