Hello.
I cannot find what is causing this problem with artifacts. Its only in the half life series of games eg half life 2, portal etc... not in any other game eg battlefield 2.
As you can see it happens across the entire screen.

PC isnt too hot, checked that and the game used to run fine untill recently. I was thinking graphics card dying but its only limited to steam games and no other application.
Also running the game on the lowest settings doesn't help.
Any help is appreciated.
