I'm in the market for a wireless router, but I really know nothing about them. My only use for it will be to connect my laptop to the internet when I come home from college, so it's not like I need to set up a full blown wireless network or anything. The range wouldn't really have to be that high either - I usually set up my laptop in the room next to my cable modem.

Do you guys have any suggestions on some good routers to look into? (The cheaper the better, of course. :E)

Cheaper is most certainly not better.

Go with whatever you can find, but I'm betting Lynksys wireless G is the popular choice.

Linksys 54G would be a good choice of course. I personally have Netgear's 54G model and it works just fine as well. No problems at all although I don't use the wireless part of it too much.

I have heard Dlink works pretty well but I have heard from others that it can be hard to setup or something along those lines. But if you know what you are doing then Dlink would be OK.
