Help! Can't save!

He everybody!
2 days ago I installed a half life 2 (steam) game.. Its working but I can't save in game... its telling me that steam is not onlin or something like that!
what to do??? pleaze help..

why would steam need to be online to save a game... is your "SAVE" folder in the directory?

when I trying to save the game its says "source fatal error- could not aquire nessecary game files bacause the connection to steam servers was lost". I dont get it (

ok... I really have no Idea why this might be... I think you'll have to get some one else here to help you out... i really dont even know about this one.
