Alright guys, I plan on purchasing a video in card/tv tuner card, and want something really really simple. I don't need anything fancy like, multiple inputs or fancy compression codecs, I just need a simple composite input card that'll give me moderate to high quality images.

The only thing I plan on doing with the card is playing PS2 games. Lying down is really uncomfortable for me and sitting crosslegged I play games horribly, but my pc setup is good. Also, I want to clear the clutter in my room, and I guess it would really make playing online games like Killzone allot more fun. Not to mention it'd really give me an incentive to go out and buy some of the great new ps2 games that i've missed.

So anyway, I want something with fairly high quality images, audio input, and a composit or yellow white red input, prefferably under 50 dollars.

EDIT: Oh and audio input isn't neccessary, but i'd really like it.

Just need a TV Tuner card?
Hauppauge
ATI (There is a version without remote for around $69 in some stores)
Or if you want the clearest one for small text (like on news casts) then get this one.

The ATI products seem to have the best picture quality overall though.

Well Asus, between the two you chose, which would you reccomend? The only reason I want high quality output is because PS2 games allready look horrid, and I don't want to end up making them look unplayable just because of a bad card.

So would I really notice the diff between those two Asus?

Probably not a big difference for what you are using it for.
