Help! Console command for bullet holes?

OK i have a dx level 7 graphics card so bullet holes and blood dont show up on physical objects like berrals, what is the console command to enable them, i know my graphics card can handle it.

PS: also how do i override the physical objects fading out after i walk farther away. It is annoying, i have to get really close to an object to see it, like a bottle or a brick.
 
I think these issues lie in your setback in technological hardware, but give these a shot.

sv_cheats may need to be enabled for these.

r_decals (#>0)
decalfrequency (#>0)
violence_hblood 1
violence_hgibs 1

As for the props fading out, I think that when using DX7 they're going to fade no matter what.
 
Well, that diddnt work, but thats ok, im gonna get a new computer for christmas anyway.
BUT, isn't there ANYTHING I can do to make the objects not fade out, it is getting really annoying especiouly in gary's mod. I cant see bottles unless they are right in my face, or if im making a vehicle and I drive it away it disappears. Plese if anyone can help me not make an object fade out it would be appreciated.

lol considering thats what it suppose to do? the flashbang effect will differ on how far or close you are to it.
 
no no I played it at a special computer place that when it went off, it turned the screen all blurry anw dizzy like! but thats ok, i just need to turn fade off and it will be all good. its annoying on gary's mod! all my phis objects fade away when i walk away
 
This guy is an insane dude, I think you might just want to... ehh... spamming works. Go with that.

You want to set these two variables every time a map loads:

r_screenfademaxsize 0
r_screenfademinsize 0

Or you can change them in the dxsupport.cfg file for whatever game you're playing for a more permenant change. NOTE: You are responsible for changes you make to that file. So make a backup first! Also, you are responsible for being able to find the file and make the changes in the correct section of the file. If you can't manage to do that, you're probably better off just setting the vars on each map load.

is tested by me...is really annoying at about 4 metres the objects like bottles,all kind of this stuff...making the gameplay a hell
