not sure what it is myself but whats ur resolution? is it higher than ur monitor can take or something i dunno

use a different renderer, you are using opengl most likely.

turn quality up to 32 bit?

this always happens when i reinstall an old HL mod, and since theres usually a lot of things i do while im changing the graphics, ill just say that this is probably it.
