When i was at an airport in stockholm i was looking through a Gaming magazine that was sitting on the shelf. There was a game called "LEVEL" which was a new game in the Shoot Em Up Side Scroller genre, like Space Invaders or Gradius. But the graphics were really oldschool and pixelated, all 2D. The magazine was expensive as **** so i though id just look the game up when i got home.

Now i cant find it anywhere, ive searched everywhere but cant find it because the name is a common word. Does anyone know what this game is and who developed it?? I want to get my hands on it ASAP

Im afraid not. Maybe it wasnt called Level, but the front page of the article just said "LEVEL" and then it had 5 entire pages filled with awesome screenshots etc, but i didnt have enough time to read anything. The game took place in Space and it looked like it had Coop mode available. The graphics were 2D and pixelated but still great somehow. Argh this is so frustrating, i cant even remember the magazine name.

There's a Swedish gaming magazine called LEVEL (7) I think, are you absolutely sure it was the name of just the article and not the magazine itself?

Ahh thats what the magazine was called, thx for clearing that up. I went to the site and found the issue i was reading through:

At the bottom left it says "Rymdretro" which im guessing is the article about the game (literal translation: Space retro), but not the actual game name itself because i googled it and found nothing. Any other swedes here that might read this magazine?

Don't read Swedish gaming magazines myself these days so I sadly can't help you.

The quality of Swedish gaming journalism is pretty meh these days anyway.

I might be able to check it out tomorrow, if the issue is still around. I'll check back tomorrow if no one else finds it for you.

The game you saw wasn't the newly announced re-release of Radiant Silvergun, or Bangai-O HD, but it probably should have been.

Nope, none of those games, but they sure look interesting too! :D

That would be cool Rizzo, if you happen to walk by a store or something. You dont need to buy it, just flip through the pages and find the name if you can :)

They didn't have it at the store I hoped whould. Might have better luck tomorrow at the store by my gym. Im way too lazy to go today.
