Help!!! Half-Life 2 Problem

Steam stopped working on my computer, so I uninstalled and reinstalled it, not thinking that that would also uninstall all of my games. So I lost my single player file, which was like 75% of the way finished. Is there any way to start a new game wherever I want?

There sure is! First, you need to enable the developer console - on the main menu, hit options, then keyboard, then advanced, and check the box that says 'enable developer console'. Then press the tilde key (~) and type in

sv_unlockedchapters 15

That'll unlock all the levels, and you can start a new game on whichever one was closest to where you were before you uninstalled.
