help hl2 and ccs

evary other day i try to play hl2 and ccs and my computer restarts itself please help....anybody know whats wrong..

now when i put the hl2 cd in to play after i click exit on the window that comes up after i put the cd in my computer restarts...

Maybe your video card is overheating. I get in sometimes if I'm using my m4d overcl0cking skillz. :naughty:

It is normal. After the reboot click on Start>All Programs>Games>Solitaire. This will entertain you for hours and doesn't cost as much as Half-Life2.


Seriously though, you are not the only person with this problem. Some of us have been trying to find the culprit for weeks now and haven't had much success. Keep checking the forum and hopefully Valve will release a patch soon.
