Help im stuck

Im stuck on the level "anti citizen one" on Half-life 2. At the end of a corridore after nvigation an area with toxic waste and zombise i have go to this door with the other people in my group now im stuck. this screen shot shows where i am. How am i supposed to open this door.

i've looked everywhere HL2 is very hard if you're not used to it and i've been generally ok so far. i just want to finish it soon so i dont have to wait as long to play HL2 episode 2. Otherwise ill end us skipping HL2 an episode 1 because im so eger to play episode 2.

I know this is kind of cheating but can you tell me how to get past this point because all the walkthroughs just say walk through the door with your squad.

BTW, your game looks like shit. What are you running at? DX7?

I think it's more the screenshot that's shit than his game settings...if anything, I think the shiny crowbard indicates that he's playing on DX8 or above.

Anyways, at the end of the area with toxic waste and zombies, there should be a ramp-like group of pipes leading up to a vent. Climb into the vent, drop down to the corridor below, and open the door to let your squad in...

go back down that hall where you opened that door to let your squad in, look at the door, then turn around, viola, theres a staircase! Go up it. -.-

if the door doesn't have a handle, you're more than likely not to be able to open it. Least by yourself.

and yes it is a screenshot that i put into photoshop and saved at the lowest quality jpg so that it was quicker to load.

yea, thats tru, any door with out a handle is npc opened, could you post more screens, that door doesnt look familiar for what you guys r sayin.
thats not the same door, its white with glass. i think hes in a diff place, but the description matches our help... this is odd. just post of pics of different veiws, turn around, walk around a little bit, so i can identify the pos.

edit: damn, again and again, these are always fixed as i post my help.

I think he's at the wrong end of that hallway you come to after you drop through the vent, right? Cause he said he just navigated through the infested toxin room, and "now im stuck." So I think what i said is right.

Yep, I just went through, and at the end of that hallway is a darkened corner with a stupid looking door there. It's the same spot.
