Does anyone know how to fix a curropeted winrar file?
I compresed all my Files in to one Winrar then i formated my HD, but now the winrar wont open! Its curropted. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Im not sure you can sorry

Same thing has happened to me before, the only thing that worked was i went back to the version i used to create the rar since the newer version had some special crap in it that stopped it working.

It can't be fixed if it's corrupted...hence the word 'corrupted'. I'm pretty sure...

Just as a side note. On my machine at work I have powerarchiver installed. It associates with rar files and will let me try to extract them but it always reaches the end, fails and says it is corrupted. That is not the case, that software is just poo. In other words, just check you are unraring with whatever you used to rar it in the first place. However, if it is corrupt, it is indeed shagged and there aint a thing you can do about it.
